TEACHING VETERINARY CLINICAL COMPLEX

Name of the Department :TEACHING VETERINARY CLINICAL COMPLEX,Nagpur Veterinary College (MAFSU), North Ambazari Road, Nagpur

History of the Department :

The present Teaching Veterinary Clinical Complex (TVCC) under Nagpur Veterinary College was established during the year 1986 with the Central Assistance Funding from the ICAR New Delhi.

The establishment of this Veterinary Hospital has fulfilled a long felt need of Nagpur Veterinary College which did not have a Veterinary Hospital of its own and suffered a great handicap in respect of offering clinical practice to the final year B.V.Sc and A.H. as well as Post Graduate students in Clinical subjects.

The Hospital started functioning w.e.f. 01/06/1986 and suitably renovated and equipped with essential instruments through RFS sanctioned by ICAR. The hospital, at present is being managed by TVCC and teaching staff of clinical departments of Nagpur Veterinary College with the object of providing clinical practice to the students as best as possible.

The Hospital has gained popularity not only in the city, but the cases are referred from the nearby districts of the state and the adjoining states such as Chhatisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh.
