The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) conducts the Class 10 (High School) and Class 12 (Intermediate) board examinations annually. In 2025, the exams commenced on February 24 and concluded on March 12, spanning 12 working days. A total of 54,38,597 students registered for these exams, with 27,40,151 in Class 10 and 26,98,446 in Class 12.​ 

The examinations were held in two shifts: the morning shift from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM and the afternoon shift from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. To ensure smooth conduct, over 8,000 examination centres were established across the state, each accommodating up to 2,000 students. Stringent measures were implemented to prevent malpractice, including the installation of CCTV cameras and the establishment of monitoring control rooms at the state and district levels.​
