OPSC Clinical Psychologist 2025 VIVA VOCE TEST & DOCUMENT VERIFICATION: In accordance with the schedule outlined below, the Commission’s office located at 19 Dr. P. K. Parija Road, Cuttack – 753001 will host the physical verification of original certificates and documents as well as the Viva Voce test for the following 17 candidates who passed the written exam for the positions of Clinical Psychologist, as per Advt. No. 37 of 2023-24.
According to paragraph 10 of the aforementioned advertisement, candidates must bring hard copies of their online application forms (with their Roll Nos. in the upper right corner), four passport-sized photos, self-attested copies of all pertinent certificates, documents, proof of identity, etc., along with the original of each. They must also fill out the “Attestation Form” and the “Bio-data form (CIF)” (which can be downloaded from the Commission’s website) completely and submit to the in person on the day of verification.
Additionally, it is made apparent that these candidates’ applications are only temporary. If an inadequacy or weakness is discovered at any point before or after the original certificate or documents are verified, the candidate may be rejected and this is contingent upon meeting the terms and circumstances specified in the advertisement.

Participating in the document verification process alone does not provide you the right to take the Viva Voce exam. The candidates will be permitted to take the Viva Voce exam at the time and date listed below, provided that they meet all eligibility requirements as confirmed by the original certificates and documentation. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
The following are the educational requirements for the position of clinical psychologist:
Any institution accredited by the Rehabilitation Council of India must have an MA/MSc in Psychology and a M Phil in Medical and Social Psychology or Clinical Psychology.

A 90-mark written exam (objective type multiple-choice question pattern) and a 10-mark viva-voice test will be used to choose applicants for the positions of clinical psychologist.
A. Written Exam (Objective Type MCQ format): This test will consist of 90 marks and be of the objective type MCQ format.
- There will be 90 questions in all, and each question will be worth one mark.
- Every incorrect response will result in negative marking, with 0.25 marks deducted.
- The test will last for one and a half hours.
- Annexure I contains the written exam syllabus in detail.
B. Interview (Viva Voce Test): The interview will be worth 10 (10) points.

OTHER ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:
The candidate must meet the following requirements:
(i) Be an Indian citizen
(ii) Have good moral character; (b) be in good health, have a healthy body and active habits; and (c) be free of physical defects or infirmities.
(iii) In order to pass the Odia Language Test (M.E. School Standard), he or she must be able to read, write, and speak Odia fluently and have passed an exam in the language similar to the Middle English School standard administered by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, the Education Department of the Government of Odisha, or any other Board or Council of Secondary Education authorized by the Government of Odisha.
(iv) A candidate who has more than one surviving spouse will not be eligible for appointment unless the State Government has exempted their case from this restriction for any valid and satisfactory reason.
(v) A candidate who has previously been prohibited from attending any examination or interview by the Odisha Public Service Commission, another State Public Service Commission, or the U.P.S.C. will not be eligible for such recruitment for that particular period or chance(s).
(vi) Government employees, whether temporary or permanent, may apply as long as they meet the age requirements listed in paragraphs three and four of the advertisement and have the necessary qualifications.
(vii) A candidate who claims a name change after passing the H.S.C. Examination must provide a copy of the name change publication in the major local daily newspapers and a copy of the Gazette notification supporting the name change. They must also provide a “No Objection Certificate” during document verification and notify their respective Heads of Offices/Departments in writing about the submission of their applications for this recruitment.
(viii) Only applicants who meet the requirements, including being within the specified age range, before the deadline for submitting an online application will be deemed qualified;
(ix) The Medical Board will examine each applicant chosen for appointment. A candidate will not be appointed if, following a medical examination, they do not meet the requirements.
